The Story Of Nutrifirst From Passion To Livelihood
Sometimes, a business is created solely for money-making purposes. And sometimes, it’s built out of a personal passion. For Barnabas Huang, it was the latter when NutriFirst was born in 2003; he found himself spending $100$300 on supplements, and figured that going into the trade would help reduce personal costs.

Despite being a Polytechnic student with limited capital back then, Barnabas was fortunate enough to gain financial and emotional support from his doting mother. And even though she was earning less than $2000 a month, she generously took out a portion of her savings to help fund her son’s business.

It seems like mums know best; it turned out to be a worthy investment after all. 14 years on, NutriFirst is still thriving under Barnabas’ undying dedication. He tells us more about the importance of health supplements, and how he’s able to upkeep his store in ever-changing times.
