Like many first-time mums, Alexandra ‘Binky’ Felstead has had a pretty hectic morning. Rushing around picking up boyfriend (and now roomie) Josh ‘JP’ Patterson from the dentist, while Auntie Georgia (JP’s sister) looks after two-month-old India, Binky has finally found a minute to herself.

Catching up with Binky about her new In The Style collection, she tells us about life as a mum, how she looks so incredible, and why she’s finding breast-feeding in public a struggle.

How are you finding being a mum?

It’s great. I had a few weeks off when she was born, but now I’m starting work again and getting back into the swing of things.

Is there anything you didn’t expect?

I didn’t know love could grow so much, so quickly.

How was leaving India for the first time? Did you find it tough?

No, it was fine. It’s good to get out of the house for a few hours when she’s sleeping, it’s good for your head. They don’t need to be on you 24/7. It’s good to have a balance.
