'Do I Hate Being A Role Model? No, I'm Grateful For It'

At only 20 years old, the Disney star turned A-list actress is already more mature than us – and so damn humble

Zendaya has already got quite a following. She’s not only racked up 42.9m Instagram followers, she’s also a fan favourite – teen girls scream her name if they see her in the street.

While a relative newcomer on this side of the water, Zendaya’s been a household name Stateside since she was 14 thanks to Disney sitcoms Shake It Up and KC Undercover. There’s also been a pop career, and she’s known for her role as an activist/spokesperson for whichever causes take her fancy. Others will be familiar with Zendaya for her now infamous take down of E! News’ Giuliana Rancic, who made an offensive comment about the actress’s dreadlocks at the 2015 Oscars.

While it’s only her big second film, Zendaya steals the show in new flick Spider-Man: Homecoming. Playing opposite fellow newbie Tom Holland, 21, she stars as Michelle, a mysterious high-schooler who offers interesting advice to a struggling Spidey.

But despite all the craziness that comes with being a child star, Zendaya has somehow sidestepped it all. And with her calm, chilled vibe, we wonder: should we all be a bit more Zendaya?

So Michelle is a very cool, unusual character. Are you like her at all?
