Lilah Modelling Opened Doors But It Wasn't Fulfilling

As one of Look’s Influencers, we’re always bumping into presenter and DJ Lilah Parsons. In fact, until recently she was our morning wake-up call as she presented The Breakfast Show on Capital FM (more on that later). Now the 29-year-old is supporting Fashion Targets Breast Cancer, a campaign where shopping for a cause has never been more real.

This year’s campaign (Lilah’s third for the charity) has the motto #Fashionstrong to symbolise that buying one of Fashion Targets Breast Cancer’s items means you’ll be joining the strong women who want to stop breast cancer taking the lives of those we love.

As well as getting the lowdown on all her favourite beauty products, we wanted to hear all about her new style direction – as well as her recent career move…

Hi Lilah! How did you get involved with the campaign?

I teamed up with them back in 2014 and it was a real honour. They bring out clothes in conjunction with high- street stores and 30 per cent of profits go to the charity – which is a huge percentage compared to other campaigns.

We’ve seen that you’ve recently been away. How was the Maldives?

It was amazing! I’ve never been somewhere like that before. I can’t believe I got to go there for work – it had always been on my bucket list.

What do you do on holiday – chill and recharge or party?

Chill, definitely. I like to go away and come back feeling good.
