​​​​​​Fashion designer and Missoni heiress Angela Missoni’s modern villa in northern Italy is like a holiday home, filled with colours and surrounded by greenery. “It’s nice to be able to live in a place where everyone likes to spend their weekends,” says Angela. The lively interiors reflect the designer’s passion for plants and objects that have a story to tell. The setting also holds a special significance as it unfolds many memories from the owner’s childhood days. Sumirago in the Province of Varese, is also where Angela’s parents, Ottavio and Rosita, founded the Missoni fashion empire best known for its colourful textiles and knitwear.
