“Hardcore” is a word that gets thrown around a lot. I myself still don’t quite know what it means, but I know what it means to me. We live in a stupid world of social media wannabes and fake celebrities who are ruining what many believe is true “hardcore” bodybuilding. To me they have zero to do with us, and by us, I mean the real bodybuilding world. It’s like comparing an IG rapper to a real credible musician. The only thing in common is that yes, music is involved; but that’s where the similarities end. It’s not a knock on anyone, even the social media wannabes. If they’re happy doing what they do, great. The issue I have is today’s bodybuilders moaning that hardcore bodybuilding is dying yet they are doing fuck all about it. Is it dead? Absolutely not. Is it dying? Absolutely NOT.
