It could be triggered by an event, or it could be a manifestation of chronic stress or even your genetic makeup. Whatever be the reason, panic gets invoked when the sympathetic nervous system tunes itself to a response to flight (a state of fear).

As a result, fear and anxiety manifests from every part of our body. We begin to sweat, the breath begins to falter, the heart starts to race, and sometimes, even there is chest pain. Events collide with each other and gives rise to a panic attack.
