Rishimukh|January 2018

Living In The Land Of The Sages: An Ode To Rishikesh

This is the Yoga Capital of the World, the national heritage city of Rishikesh. Charged with marvellous spiritual energy of the numerous sages and saints who have been coming here since ages, to meditate and search for higher knowledge, the importance of this city for spiritual enthusiasts remains unparalleled.

In the midst of this history and glory ofancient spiritual atmosphere lies our Art of Living Rishikesh Ashram. Right along the banks of the divine Ganga, shaded in the canopy of mountains and endowed with beautiful lounges and meditation halls, it is thronged by thousands looking for much needed rejuvenation throughout the year. As sun dapples through the tall trees over the city, every morning you can go for a dip and have a beautiful walk along the holy Ganga listening to the gurgling sounds of water flowing and birds chirping. The sacred Sanskrit chants of Rudram, the amazingly serene environment, delicious variety of sattvic meals and cool breeze continuously passing over the river make for a euphoric experience.
