Amanda Mtuli
Leading In Technology

My first interaction with a subject that has to do with computers was in high school.

I chose physical science and computer science as some of my subjects, and this pushed me towards the world of computers. I pursued this career because I was inspired by the many opportunities that were growing within the field. My parents also encouraged my siblings and I to pursue science-related courses.

I studied information systems and accounting at North- West University.

I then went on to do my BCom Honours (informatics) at the University of Pretoria. After completing it, I went abroad to do a Master of Science at Oxford Brookes University. I then did a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Warwick in the UK.
