We aim to build a sustainable ecosystem and create a positive impact on people’s lives through technology. We have undertaken initiatives promoting education, conservation, sanitation, healthcare and public welfare to improve people’s quality of life and bring about progressive change,” says Sunny Singh, CEO, RoundGlass Wellbeing, in conversation with Dr Ravi Gupta, Editor-in-Chief & CEO of Elets News Network (ENN).

Q What has inspired RoundGlass Wellbeing to expand its base in India?

RoundGlass is a global company with most of the works being executed in India. We work on the concept of wellbeing. RoundGlass’ vision of wellbeing emerges from individual, social, cultural, economic and environmental fulfilment and growth. India has always been the cradle for wholistic wellbeing. Yoga and Ayurveda have been benefitting us since ancient times, but over the years these wholistic concepts have gained more popularity in the western world. We want to bring back the understanding that wellbeing comprises mental and emotional stability along with physical health. We aim to integrate traditional wisdom with modern amenities and technology. We are currently working on executing the model village projects in Punjab and after their successful implementation, we plan to go panIndia.

Q What sort of initiatives are being undertaken by your organization in Punjab?

We have evolved the concept of Model Village – a self-reliant, eco- sustainable, progressive rural society that facilitates harmony between humans, animals and the environment. Our varied initiatives cover improvement in all aspects of living, from sanitation and health to education and skill development. With the RoundGlass Model Village concept we are aiming to build a model of rural wellbeing that will not only benefit villagers but also serve as a crucible for sustained env
