You've been a part of the retail beauty space for over two decades. How has it changed?

Globalisation has played a huge role in the evolution of the beauty industry in the last few years. Earlier, India had its own indigenous and unique concepts of beauty, and now, with the role the Internet and social media play, global beauty trends reach our shores at the same time as they do the West. The digital revolution has led to the democratisation of beauty through the use of social media platforms. And the consumption of this across all media has led to the democratisation of beauty with everyone having access to the Internet, and, through it, the latest beauty trends. It's heartwarming to see women using makeup to celebrate themselves, as well as experimenting with new looks. There is a greater need for beauty enablers, from highlighters to makeup tools, and the Internet allows women to make more informed choices on the same.
