If you haven’t checked out the Dominar yet, you seriously have to get out of your cave more often. Bajaj’s new flagship model, if anything, looks sturdy and bold. Photogenic, for sure. When Bajaj launched the power cruiser in Dec ’16 with a pricetag of ₹1.36-1.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) attached, it made the bike all the better to look at. Sure, it’s not V-Max or Diavel brawny, but it’s got that well-proportioned, low, muscular, forward-biased design that looks very cool. “Its shape and design draws inspiration from a lion,” is what I’m told at the media brief. Who would have guessed? The shape of the headlight unit as well as the tank and the design of the LED tail-light looks a little familiar, no? But whatever said and done, it works.
