FERRARI 488 PISTA

Ferrari has made a ‘ Track focused” version of the 488 GTB called the “Pista”. Now before you start cracking your “Kaju Pista” jokes, be aware this Pista is no child’s play. Infact, it is the most powerful V8 engine put in a Ferrari ever! 711bhpYes, you read that right! Maniacs at Ferrari HQ thought that the normal 488 GTB needed more power and they tweaked the 3.9-litre bi-turbo to churn out 711bhp of power and 770NM of torque.

All this power gain comes with the help of new cams, a larger intercooler, strengthened pistons, titanium connecting rods, and Inconel exhaust manifolds are among the many mechanical changes versus the 488 GTB’s standard powerplant. Revisions to the seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox also allow for shifts in just 30 milliseconds when drivers enter Race mode.

And guess what “Pista” means in Italian? “Track” -exactly where this supercar belongs. Log on to Exhibit Auto for more updates from the Geneva Motor Show.

2019 AUDI A6

Audi’s A6 has been an important product for the German carmaker in its lineup. At this year’s Geneva Motor Show, the new A6 is amongst the main newsmakers.

Aesthetically, the new A6 has been designed on the same lines as the new A8 and the new A7. It is now 7mm longer, 12mm wider and 2mm taller than its predecessor. The wheelbase has also gone up by 12mm and now stands at 2924mm
