Lori: Terrified Of Prison

Lori Loughlin didn’t think things could get any worse. Then, on Oct. 22, the disgraced actress — who, along with her fashion designer husband, Mossimo Giannulli, is facing up to 40 years in prison for allegedly paying $500,000 to get their daughters into the University of Southern California — was dealt another crushing blow. In addition to wire fraud and money laundering, prosecutors have added another criminal charge — bribery — to the mounting case against the couple.

Now Lori’s looking at even more time behind bars — and according to an insider, she’s positively petrified. “Lori can’t wrap her head around the thought of making it through one night in prison, let alone years,” says the source. In the eight months since her March 13 arrest, the 55-year-old star has lost everything — her career is over, her marriage to Mossimo, 56, is in serious trouble and her relationships with kids Isabella, 21, and Olivia Jade, 20, have suffered. And she’s about to lose her freedom, as well, unless she makes a secret deal with prosecutors that could knock her time down to five years. “She so afraid of what her future holds,” says the insider. “She’s a nervous wreck. Her anxiety is through the roof.”
