After our bombshell report in August about Meg Ryan’s shockingly surgerized face, the 56-year-old actress seemed to be taking our advice and easing up on the injectables. In fact, when we caught her strolling through New York’s SoHo ’hood recently, she looked more youthful and natural than she has in years! That’s because after decades of futzing with her famous face, sources report that Meg begged doctors to reverse all the treatments — and it’s working.

The actress’s about-face came during what is usually a joyous event: wedding dress shopping. Currently planning Christmastime nuptials to rocker John Mellencamp, Meg had an epiphany at a bridal salon.
