On Feb. 28, a Los Angeles judge ordered Lisa Marie Presley, the down-on her-luck daughter of rock & roll legend Elvis Presley, to ante up $100,000 for her estranged husband Michael Lockwood’s legal fees — a particularly difficult task, considering she’s millions in debt! But pals don’t pity the rock heir. In fact, a bombshell courtroom confession has emerged: Lisa Marie was a raging drug addict while she was wed to Michael!
“The last year of our marriage, I was abusing cocaine terribly,” Lisa Marie admitted in a deposition, revealing she was also hooked on other drugs and alcohol.
But she seems far less willing to take responsibility for squandering the $1 billion fortune her famous father left her. Instead, Lisa Marie blames her former business manager, Barry Siegel, for misspending her fortune — she’s currently suing him for breach of trust, negligence and constructive fraud — but a source insists that Lisa Marie was so “drugged out” during that time that she can’t really zero in on a culprit with any certainty.
