MACKENZIE Phillips shocked the world when her 2009 memoir, High on Arrival, revealed a long history of drug abuse and a 10-year incestuous relationship with her musician father, the late John Phillips of the Mamas & the Papas. Now, with the release of her new tome, Hopeful Healing: Essays on Managing Recovery and Surviving Addiction, it seems all the more appropriate that Mackenzie — who is now a drug counselor — became a star on a sitcom named One Day at a Time. However, her current book is reopening old wounds with other relatives who, apparently, are still blaming her for revealing the family skeletons years ago.
