Super Red Headphones

Julian Evan-Hart
Product Report

For the seasoned detectorist, the name Tony Maz surely needs no introduction when it comes to his past history of design, production and release into the hobby of quality, wellbuilt high performance headphones. Well I’m proud to announce that he’s only gone and done it again! Tony has come out of retirement to both design and manufacture these headphones exclusively for Detectorbits. Having received a pair to test I was just itching to get out in the fields and see what they were all about.

First Impressions

Removing the headphones from their packaging I was delighted by the sturdiness and the robust appearance of the leads. The solid moulding of the ear cups was impressive as was the rigidity of the head frame. Head size adjustability was smooth and easily facilitated with no severe pulling required. The ear phones also have a very comfortable seal when placed in position.

Lost and Found?

There have been several instances over my long detecting career where, not only has it has been a delight to be able to help people who have lost things, but also a great thrill when such losses are returned to their owners. I have several memories of such occurrences.
