Spanish model and actor, Jon Kortajarena, tells Charmaine Ho about his journey with Bvlgari and finding beauty in contradictions
It has been a year since you first became an official Bvlgari ambassador. How has it been so far?
It’s been so great! I feel very grateful to be connected to the Bvlgari people. Before I started working with Bvlgari, for me, the brand was just something that was beautiful; I didn’t know much about it. Since then, they’ve taught me the value of the mechanisms and materials; I didn’t know there was a world behind the watches. I love learning new things and you know, this is something really interesting to me. I like the brand very much: The sophistication, the masculinity and also this Italian style—it’s very, very Mediterranean. So for me, it’s also something from my essence, you know, from my childhood, and I think these are the things that I feel connected to the strongest.
