My Dad In Dream

If this change comes into families, it will develop a lot of balance…

My Dad In Dream

For summer holidays, we once visited London. The old and magnificent city, depicts the collaboration of ancient and modern world. During our visit, we tasted different cuisines and after 2 weeks the thirst for our own food was more; we wanted to eat good south Indian food. We started looking for places around us. Finally, we saw Saravana Bhavan at Wembley stadium, it was just one metropolitan train and 5 stations from the place we stayed. I was so excited since I was starving for idly and dosas for the past 10 days.

Next day morning we planned on our trip down to the restaurant, we got off at Central Wembley. We were shocked to see this street filled with Indians… for a second I thought I was in an Indian city. People talking our language everywhere, street full of Indian restaurants, jewellers, pan shops, juice store, even Kai Josiyam!(palmists). The street was completely packed with people walking up and down entering or exiting a shop. We spotted our Saravana Bhavan and was relieved to find a table in that busy hour.

I was so happy to see the menu and my husband was more excited to see his idly, but not our children they want to try something different not regular stuff. I made a deal with them, since we compromised our favourite food for 2 weeks. The restaurant was so busy with people chatting over and children feeling cranky. The place was so congested that if I move my chair a little, I am sure it would hit another person's seat. Tables were close to each other. The best part is no one was worried about the comfortability or noise… all we want is 'South Indian food'.
