We are under this surveillance all the time... so what should we do?

Under CCTV

After a program in Vizag, we were returning home from the airport around midnight. A few meters in front of our house, we saw a group of teenagers surrounded by police. My husband Sunil, the good hearted human he is, got down from the car to help them and told me to proceed towards home.

An hour passed by and he did not return; little worried I called him up to enquire what the matter was. He informed that one of the guys was drunk and in that condition he drove the car. While driving he smashed a few vehicles that were parked aside. Also hit an auto on the road which had passengers inside and they were hurt too. The cops had followed the car and caught them near our house. Sunil was trying to contact his dad. But his dad's mobile went on a long ring and nobody picked it. So, all were waiting at the police station.

I felt very concerned for his mom and dad. What would they go through when the mobile rings at 1 a.m. in the night with the news that their son was caught by police and he was in the police station and he had hit few vehicles, injured people around and found guilty of driving in drunken state. Why are children so irresponsible? What rights do they have to give heart aches to their parents, why can't they be responsible enough?

My thoughts were intervened when Sunil returned an hour later and what he shared added a twist to the story. It seems that his dad himself was so drunk that he wasn't aware of his cell ringing. So a friend was contacted and he drove the car and got the father to the police station.
