Miss Can-Do-No-Right
YOU South Africa|5 July 2018

Smiling too little, trying too hard to crack jokes, a watermelon ‘cake’ for her birthday – Victoria Beckham seems to come under fire no matter what she does.

SHE’S transformed from pouty popstar to the head of a fashion empire and held together a marriage spanning two decades – all while raising four beautiful kids.

But Victoria Beckham just can’t seem to catch a break.

Poor Posh seems to face criticism for everything from her expression to her eating habits, no matter how successful her business or how happy her children are.

Even her talk at the recent Forbes Women’s Summit in New York City didn’t go by without a fresh wave of shade being thrown at the former singer.

It was an intimate sit-down session, sold as a “fireside chat” on her business and career – and VB delivered.

Even though she was supposed to be talking shop, the 44-year-old opened up on more personal matters, including her marriage to soccer legend David (43) and how she juggles her personal and professional life.

But the uncharacteristic soul-baring couldn’t save her from the criticism that came when she asked the 300 summit attendees not to take pics of her.
