“She’s a deeply compassionate person, but I love that she’s flawed as well,” Mandy (33) says of her character Rebecca Pearson, the wife of alcoholic Jack and mother to twins Kate and Kevin and their adoptedd brother Randall, who all share a birthday with their dad.
“She’s not a perfect mother or a perfect woman, but she tries her best. I also think [about] how devoted she is to her family. They come first, before anything and anyone else in her life. She’s a tremendous role model for all women to see that no one is perfect.”
