There is a smile on the face of budding engineers after JEE Main 2017 result was declared on April 27. After clearing the first hurdle of gaining admissions in IITs, they are all set for JEE (Advanced), the second stage of the national-level exam.
IIT Madras will conduct JEE (Advanced) in an offline mode on May 21, 2017. There will be two papers in the offline mode exam and candidates will have to mark the correct answer by darkening the circle on the optical response sheet (ORS). Candidates must use either a black or blue pen to darken the circle and exert adequate pressure so that the required impression is made on the second page of the ORS sheet. Approximately 2,20,000 candidates will write the exam and close to 11, 000 will make their way to the IITs.
