In Full Bloom

So the recent uptick in Alicia spottings—last year in Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul and the acclaimed The Killing of a Sacred Deer; with Diane Keaton and Jane Fonda in Book Club this past May—is more than a moment: It’s a ramp-up.

Her next role, as ’70s mom Bonnie Nolan in American Woman (June 7 on Paramount Network), is set to land her back in the spotlight and at the top of must-watch lists. It is dishy, glamorous, and celebratory of ballsy women— exactly what you’d expect from a story based on the life of the mother of a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star (Kyle Richards, who is co-executive producer). Like Bonnie, Alicia recently split with her husband (and the father of her son, Bear Blu, 7). So Redbook caught up with the busier-than-ever mom to find out how she’s juggling her new roles.

Do you see yourself in Bonnie?
