Oh, to be 22 and ferociously pursuing what you know you were born to do. When you’re sharing brunch with actor and director Quinn Shephard at Walker’s, a tin-ceilinged, old-school New York boîte in Tribeca, such thoughts are inevitable. Shephard’s debut full-length film, Blame, released in early January, was a film-festival favorite this past year. A child actor who’s also been making her own films since she was 12 years old, Shephard started working on Blame at 15. “I did my feature instead of going to college,” she says.
