When Adan Liepner from Prince Albert in the Western Cape first saw the band ZZ TOP’s car collection, he fell in love with classics and his dream of owning a garage full of classics and hot rods began.
He decided to sell six project cars to a friend in Johannesburg and his friend coincidently had this 1972 Ford V8 Ranchero that was for sale and it became part of the deal.
When the Ranchero arrived from JHB, it was clear that it would need a bit of attention. Mechanically the car was fine but the body needed sorting out. Adan decided to send the car to Coastal Customs for a full rebuild.
