Professional Makeup Artist Pinky Asnani Converses With Amaira Chhabria About Setting Up Her Salon, Her Signature Style and Products She Highly Recommends
Pinky Asnani is straightforward woman, one who knows herself and has found her passion. Taking beauty seriously, her zest for life combined with her creativity play a key role in her ability to create makeup looks. And while her expressive personality compliments her work, it’s her optimistic attitude and spirit that are infectious.
Hailing from Mumbai, Pinky’s fascination with makeup began very early on. She developed an admiration for the way her mother Bharati Asnani was always so well put together. Later on, fresh out of M.M.K College of Commerce & Economics, Pinky pursued a career as a flight attendant with a highly reputed airline. It was during this time that she tied the knot with Akbar Mithiborwala, a major driving force behind her growth. Having spent ten years in the industry, she took a sabbatical when her son Aryan was born and then, about 3 years later, she began to groom over 7000 employees of Kingfisher Airlines for makeup, styling, etiquette and presentation.
