With a change in the status of J&K, LegaL Notes takes a look at all the state laws that were repealed, amended and the central laws that would now be applicable to the Union Territory of J&K.

Laws used during the abrogation of Section 370 and Article 35-A:

While the monsoon session of the Parliament saw Home Minister Amit Shah announce one of the historic decisions to repeal Section 370 and Article 35-A of the Constitution, the former state saw around 2500 people including state ministers put under detention.
