The Last Word With Paul Cuddihy

I DON’T know about you, but I’ve really enjoyed the start of 2019.

The Last Word With Paul Cuddihy

Seven games played, seven games won, with 21 goals scored and none conceded.

We’re top of the table with a six-point lead, into the quarter-final of the Scottish Cup and we’ve got a UEFA Europa League last 32 tie with Valencia to look forward to, with the first leg this Thursday night.

Sunday’s game was another impressive performance, with a Scott Sinclair hat-trick, a superb showing in leading the line from Olly Burke, and a stunning Scott Brown goal.

They don’t happen too often, but just a few days after the eighth anniversary of The Broony, it was great to see our captain on the scoresheet again… it will surely be a contender for Goal of the Season.

AS well as working on the View, we also produce the match programme for every home game, and this week’s programme for the Valencia game is a special one.

It includes an interview with our captain, while the manager has penned his pre-match notes in both English and Spanish, which I think is a really great touch.
