Dorus De Vries Signs Contract Extension With Celtic

The 36-year-old goalkeeper signed for the Hoops in August last year from Nottingham Forest, linking up again with Brendan Rodgers, having previously worked with the manager at Swansea City.

The Dutchman made his debut in the 4-1 victory over Aberdeen and made six firstteam appearances in the treble-winning season, including the 5-1 demolition derby win over Rangers in September.

This season he played in the Premiership game against Dundee at Celtic Park in the middle of October, producing a superb performance to keep a clean sheet and help the Hoops to a 1-0 victory

De Vries is part of a strong goalkeeping unit at Celtic, all of them working hard under the guidance of a top-class coach in Stevie Woods, and led by an inspirational manager in Brendan Rodgers.
