FOR the first time, Brendan Rodgers will tell his football story in an autobiography which is coming out later this year, and it has been my privilege to work with the manager on this project.

There have been many occasions when I’ve been reminded how fortunate I am to be in this position as Celtic View editor, and sitting down with our treble-winning Invincibles manager as he reflects on his career to date and last season’s momentous achievements in particular has been a real privilege.

It will be the must-read book of this year when it hits the Celtic stores, and I’m sure it will be top of many Christmas lists when they come to be compiled.

OUR pre-season friendly matches in Austria and the Czech Republic were all screened live on Celtic TV and, as always, I was delighted to provide the commentary for the games.

I did so alongside some illustrious company. Craig Gordon was my co-commentator for the opening fixture against BW Linz, while his fellow goalkeeper, Dorus de Vries, took over the duties for the Rapid Vienna game. Both of them offered superb analysis and insight into the games, which I know Celtic TV subscribers enjoyed.
