These window-addicts must have prayed a lot for more windows on planes – and even one in the toilet. Well, their prayers have been answered, courtesy US airline Delta.
Delta is the first US operator of the Airbus A220-100 that will start flying from January 31, 2019 from New York’s LaGuardia (LGA) airport to Boston Logan International and to Dallas/Ft. Worth. These flying babies will have a whole lot of new features that will make flying “experience-rich,” according to Delta. The bells and whistles will include wider seats, zippy Wi-Fi, and of course, the loo with a view that has been claimed as a first for Delta and a rarity on commercial aircraft. Of the three toilets on the plane – one in front and two at the rear – only one of the two at the back will have the prized loo.
Incidentally, the Economy class passengers, who have been forever squeezed in their seats should be happy.
