MINNIE BHATT (MINNIE BHATT DESIGN)
When Minnie founded Minnie Bhatt Design ten years ago, she felt the need to have greater independence with regards to her design language and to openly express her creativity. She says, “My style is eclectic and versatile, which is reflected in most of my projects, be it hospitality, residential or second homes. I like to create warm spaces with lots of tiny details that enhance the space. I prefer working with pure materials as opposed to look alike. I believe passion towards creating great design and spaces along with the ability to create spaces as imagined and envisaged is the key to perfection, which I follow in my work and daily life.” Her initial and memorable projects include - a villa in Goa, a bungalow by the sea in Juhu, Silver Beach Cafe (her first F&B project), and the first outlet of Burma Burma in Mumbai. From there it was no looking back - Minnie Bhatt Design has worked on more than 70 plus hospitality projects. Minnie says, “I’ve never been an over-ambitious person, but, I do consider myself to be passionate about the work I do, and look forward to doing good projects pan India and abroad in the next five years - it is my vision for Minnie Bhatt Design. Also, I hope to design the interiors of a holiday resort someday.”
