It’s been five years since George and Amal Clooney married during an epic three-day celebration in Venice—and while their life together is still impeccably glamorous, it’s changed considerably since then.

Though they still occasionally globehop for work, they spend as much time as they can nesting in their homes in Italy and outside London, simply being mom and dad to twins Ella and Alexander, 2. Over the summer, the duo embraced the chance to relax as a family at their villa in Laglio, Italy, where they hosted famous friends like the Obamas. “Their Lake Como villa is spectacular, and George and Amal look forward to spending the summer there every year,” says a source. “It’s a wonderful place for the whole family.”
