Ribbons And Bows Are Très Chic On The Runways, But What About IRL? Actress Judy Greer Takes The Trend Out On The Town
One of the reasons I said yes to trying out these ribbons and bows is that I’ve worn stuff in my hair before. For the Golden Globes, my hairstylist Gregory Russell, stylist Karla Welch, and I referenced for inspiration a picture of Sylvette David, who was Picasso’s muse for a hot second. She had this messy ponytail with a bow in it. That’s what we did. But wearing this stuff in real life is 100 percent different from on the red carpet. In my real life I don’t wear a lot of makeup. My style is a little normcore with a cool blazer. So when I started playing with these bows, I was like, “Fuck, I don’t think I can pull them off.”
