A typical 10 tips to a better… or 5 ways to improve at…there tends to be dull boring bullet points that usually include 9 things that everyone already knows or have heard before, followed by one thing that the writer made up just to get to the tenth tip. When I first sat down to start writing the ten tips to a better shoot, I fell into that trap. 1-4 would have been statements of the obvious that would have brought remarks such as, “no kidding” or for the younger crowd, “Duh”, so I chose not to do it that way.
