What Makes it Special
Since 2000, Woody Antique House has been the all-in-one destination for eclectic Asian antiquities and furnishings. Its inventory is housed in a 6,000-square-foot showroom in Dempsey Hill, and includes items from countries like Tibet, Myanmar, Thailand, India, China and Indonesia. With new shipments bi-weekly, you can choose between impeccably restored antique items, well-made reproductions, upcycled furniture and more. “Each piece is an expression of the skills and efforts of the carpenter who made it,” shares General Manager Chris Ang.
There is always something new to see at Woody Antique House, from larger-than-life gongs and dramatic wardrobes to bronzed Buddha statues. As a part of its Reborn Teak Series, the store also stocks furniture made of upcycled teak from old houses in Indonesia. Not only is this line environmentally friendly, the pieces are completely customisable to fit your desired dimensions and specifications.
Its key collection now includes vintage Indian cabinets and chests, coffee and dining tables, and more made from old doors and windows from the Indian state of Rajasthan. With its intricate carving and details, these pieces are sure to add style to any living room!
Beyond its wide collection of wellaged items, Woody Antique House is the exclusive reseller of Domus Ventures’ outdoor synthetic wicker furniture, which are perfectly suited for SG’s humid weather. Bonus: They are eco-conscious, dirt-resistant and offer UV protection, too.
