Rave parties were started in London in the tenth decade of initial twentieth century. In the beginning, these kinds of parties were organised in the forest. But these were organised in anonymous pubs and garages of city’s after 1960. A special kind of pop music was composed for these parties, in which electronic musical instrumentation were also used. And which was publicly exhibited at the round house on 28 January, 1967. This music became quite popular in the 1970s.
When Hippies came to visit Goa in 1970, these parties were started organising in Goa pubs secretly by them. With time, some local brats also started joining these parties with Hippies. Because wine, drugs, music, dance, song and sex’s cocktail was served in these rave parties. Now the craze of these parties is being increased among richest sons of India. Now these parties have been spread in cities like Jaipur, Noida and Gurgaon. The meaning of Rave is joyful and excited also. To enjoy and become excited, rich boys and girls use acid, extacy, hashish, ganja, heroin, opium, charas, MDMA, GHB, catamine and LSD with liquor with their boyfriends and girlfriends.
