WHAT ARE THEY?
Essentially, adaptogens are a range of herbs and mushrooms that help support our minds and bodies when we’re dealing with stress.
“Adaptogens work in our body to allow us to do more and cope better when exposed to stress and everyday life,” says Peta. “They can also increase our energy, mental focus and support our immune system. When we are stressed, our immune response can be suppressed, making us more susceptible to infections and delayed recovery.”
