With her three trusty companions on one side and an 80-strong herd of 700kg Brahman cows on the other, farmer Zoe Rowe carefully maneuvers the all-terrain vehicle across the dustbowl of a paddock for another day of hand-feeding.
But this isn’t as easy as it appears, because a rare genetic disorder has slowly stolen the 29-year-old’s sight and she now has less than 12 per cent vision.
Just don’t tell this incredible young woman she can’t do it!
“I have not had a day off since March last year, and that’s not special out here. No one has days off,’’ Zoe says.

“I have a photographic memory. If there is a hole in the ground or a log in a paddock, I know exactly where it is. The specialists can only tell me how much sight I’ve lost and it’s happening so slowly now that I would rather just get on with it.”
