The iconic Bond star’s famous megawatt smile will never be forgotten
Farewell To Hollywood's Original Heartthrob

When it comes to Hollywood leading men, you’d be hard-pressed to find one more loved than Sir Sean Connery.

The James Bond star, who lit up the silver screen for more than five decades, died peacefully in his sleep in Nassau, Bahamas, on October 31, aged 90.

Current 007 actor Daniel Craig said Sean was “one of the true greats of cinema. He defined an era and a style. The wit and charm he portrayed on screen could be measured in megawatts.”

While his wife Micheline Roquebrune, son Jason and legions of fans around the world are in mourning, his charisma, talent and scandalous trysts means his legacy will live on forever.

HUMBLE CHILDHOOD

Born in the slums of Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1930, to truck driver father Joseph and cleaning lady mother Euphemia, Sean’s less-than -affluent upbringing saw him take on many roles – milkman, coffin polisher and even a bodybuilder.
