But it starts before that – inside your mouth, which is the opening or entrance into your whole gut system. Your mouth microbiome is crucial too.

MOUTH HEALTH is as important as gut health

The microbiome in the mouth is extremely diverse. It’s about four times higher than the microbiome in the gut. Our microbiome can change according to our lifestyles and diet, so they are key. Try to stay away from processed food as much as possible. Limit sugar, refined starches, and dairy products.
