Evidently our sympathy is being requested for those who have been locked down and unable to meet their married lovers.

Various polls and surveys have revealed that cheaters feel hard done by, with some – including disgraced government scientist Neil Ferguson – breaking the isolation rules by sneaking illicit romps.

Bit old school on this one. If your marriage is over, it’s over. End it. Cheating breaks hearts full stop. And don’t start on that guff about staying for the sake of the kids – a mum or dad doing the dirty will cause far more anguish in the long run.
