Why go?

If you’re looking for dramatic coastlines, golden sand and clear blue seas, then look no further than Cubert in North Cornwall. Close to Newquay and known for sandy Fistral and Watergate Bay, here you can walk to a nearby beach or drive to a year-round dog-friendly beach with miles of golden sand.

Coastal walks

Set out on foot along the cliffs to Westgate Beach, taking in the local sights and stopping off in a couple of pubs along the way. There are loads of coastal walks to choose from. Check out the Discovery Trail Map, but be careful to check tide times before you head out. Find information by visiting: visitnewquay.org/ things-to-do/ activities/ walking-and hiking.
