Barking Mad

 

THERE’S nothing so annoying as to own a dog that you love, who is an adoring companion, but who barks persistently – whether that be at home, in the garden or while being taken for a walk where he meets other dogs and starts yapping at them.

Barking on home territory is usually his way of saying this is my space, keep out. Same can apply when in your car. It can also be a way of seeking attention.

You’ve told your mutt off for barking, perhaps had to drag him away from the window. In doing so you’ve given him attention. Great. Let’s do it again. Woof, woof.
