“Time doesn’t heal – it accommodates.” In a gut-wrenching new interview, Sir Bob Geldof has admitted he’s still struggling to comprehend the death of ”lovely” daughter Peaches, who passed away after an accidental heroin overdose.
The rocker says intense feelings of loss, grief and sadness remain with him six years after he lost his middle child. And the “maelstrom of horror” he’s experienced during his life, including the death of ex-wife and Peaches’ mother Paula Yates, is sometimes too much for him to bear.
“It surges forward, this involuntary subconscious flood of emotion inhabits you, utterly. I’ll be at the traffic lights and I start to weep and I think, ‘You’re weeping.’
