Pack Your Prescription

If you have pre-existing medical conditions and are currently taking medication, ensure you bring enough to last your entire trip. Check if the country you are visiting, or passing through, allows the medication you are carrying as many have strict rules on which substances they allow through border control. The Home Office provides information on this.

Travel Sickness?

Seats over the wings on the plane get the least amount of motion, while window seats allow you to keep an eye on the horizon. Listen to an audio book instead of reading, and use the air vent overhead to blow cool air in your face.

Take A Basic First Aid Kit…

This enables you to deal with accidents without having to find –and then pay a fortune in –alocal pharmacy. Useful items include hydrocolloid dressings for minor cuts which are weeping and waterproof film dressings for dry wounds; plasters; and tweezers for removing small pieces of wood, metal or glass stuck in the body.
