You know how schoolboys like to put posters of cars on their bedroom walls? The Mitsubishi ASX will never grace the wall above the bed of any schoolboy. Not that Mitsubishi would even contemplate printing a poster of the ASX.
If the ASX were a cricket player, it would never open the bowling, and it wouldn’t bat at one or two. It might come in at six or seven, and only bowl when all the other bowlers were exhausted.
In cricketing jargon, the ASX is an all-rounder, a versatile player who can do a bit of everything quite well, without being brilliant at just one thing. I know you occasionally get a freak who is exceptional at batting, bowling and fielding, but unfortunately the ASX is not the Jacques Kallis of the motoring world.
