As if its purpose is purely decorative, the water mirrors the sun setting over the city skyline as sailboats glide upon it.Instagram aficionados, be sure to check out Beacon Hill&rsquo;s Acorn Street. It&rsquo;s only one block long but is reputed to be the most photographed street in the country, so it&rsquo;s safe to say that it&rsquo;s probably the most charming cobblestone road of all time. From here, transport yourself back to the 1800s as you explore Louisburg Square, an exclusive neighborhood that hasn&rsquo;t been touched in centuries.And of course, for the American history buff, the renowned Freedom Trail is a 2.5-mile stretch marked by a red brick path that will take you past 16 significant locations, including graveyards, churches and the Paul Revere House. None of the sights are what you would call hidden gems, as each is easy to find and clearly marked, but still, the trail is not to be missed.
